This workshop grants you exclusive access to self taping tutorials that help you build your own home setup, edit and compress files, and teach iPhone tricks to create incredible self-tapes.

Students will have the opportunity to experience all three audition scenarios: self-tape, in person, and a cold read. Actors will be given mock sides ahead of time and be required to self-tape. They will receive feedback and have the opportunity to read again. Afterward, they will get a cold read on the spot to improve how they make spontaneous choices. This intensive class will conclude with a Q&A.

You will receive Acting, Technical, or a combination of feedback on your materials. You must follow all the instructions in the welcome email to receive acting feedback. By signing up you understand that you will not be refunded if you do not follow directions.

Carol Shaginaw
A native of Metro Atlanta and a graduate of The University of Georgia, Carol's previous careers were in finance and sales. As a former owner of a mortgage company, mortgage banker for the megabanks, a sales and operations manager, and even a Charter School founder, she was always focused on the business sector. Carol was not active in the entertainment industry until she became a mother of two fantastic daughters and their interest in the Performing Arts became a love of her own. It was then that she became passionate about serving and leading acting coaches, actors, and parents of actors. She was the Studio Manager of an award-winning acting school for 7 years. It was her mission to educate those on their acting journey by providing the very best in a professional studio with the necessary acting tools to do so. After working closely with the Studio Owner, Casting Directors, Talent Agents, Acting Coaches, and Talent, she wanted to broaden her passion for putting talented actors to work! She decided to take her entertainment career to another level and expanded her role to that of a Talent Agent and most recently, the Owner of her own talent agency, Carol Shaginaw Talent Agency. Her background in the entertainment industry for the past 11 years and her business mindset has led her to much success in booking talent for many projects including Film, TV, Commercials, Print, and Industrials.
