Joy started her career in the entertainment industry in the Atlanta market in 1993. She is the original, sole creator of Hot Shot Kids. In 2007, her impeccable eye for talent and her years of discovering and building careers earned her the position of Head Talent Scout for the prestigious Osbrink Agency located in Los Angeles, CA. Joy joined the J Pervis Talent Agency in 2009, one of the most recognized agencies in the Southeast region representing adults, children and voice over talent in all facets of the industry.
Joy is nationally recognized for discovering, developing, and/or representing actors such as Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Raven Symone, Morgan Saylor (Showtime's Homeland, winner of the 2013 Golden Globe for Best Drama Series), Nolan Gould (ABC's Emmy and Golden Globe award winning series, Modern Family), Maggie Jones (Fox's Ben & Kate), Laura Wiggins (Showtime's Shameless), Blake Michael (Disney's Dog With a Blog), Lucas Till (X-Men), and many more.
In January of 2013 Joy Pervis was acknowledged for her numerous achievements throughout her career as the recipient of the prestigious, inaugural Georgia Highlight Award by the Georgia Entertainment Commission.
Get Scene for Kids Format
Actors will be given sides earlier in the week and must self tape as if the audition came from their agent. Workshop will begin with actors coming in by themselves one at a time and performing a separate audition with our industry professional, that will be sent prior to start date. Then all actors and their parent will have the chance to watch play back and receive notes. Self tape evaluation will follow. This workshop will conclude with a Q&A.

Cancellations must be done seven days prior to event in order to secure a refund or credit. Credits will expire after 6 months. Same day cancellations/no-shows result in a loss of payment and no credit.
